Your Data Never Leaves Your Device
ArrowScope is designed with privacy as a core principle. When you use ArrowScope to view Arrow or Feather files:
- ✅ All file processing happens entirely in your browser
- ✅ Your data is NEVER uploaded to any server
- ✅ No backend, no database, no storage
- ✅ Files are processed in memory and discarded when you close the page
What We Collect
ArrowScope uses third-party services for analytics and advertising:
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics (tracking ID: G-Z8159X0BRK) to understand how visitors use our site. Google Analytics may collect:
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- Pages visited and time spent
- Referring website
- General location (country/city level)
Google Analytics does NOT have access to the files you view. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.
Google AdSense
We use Google AdSense (publisher ID: ca-pub-2761624759066126) to display advertisements. AdSense may use cookies and similar technologies to:

Local Processing
All file parsing, statistics computation, and visualization happens entirely within your browser using JavaScript. The technical process:
- You select or drop a file
- Your browser reads the file using the File API
- Apache Arrow JS library parses the file in memory
- Statistics are computed client-side
- Results are displayed
At no point is your file data transmitted over the network.
Cookies
ArrowScope itself does not set any cookies. However, Google Analytics and Google AdSense may set cookies for their own purposes. You can disable cookies in your browser settings if preferred.
Third-Party Services
ArrowScope loads the following third-party libraries from CDNs:
- Apache Arrow JS: From jsDelivr CDN (for parsing Arrow files)
- ECharts: From jsDelivr CDN (for charts and visualizations)
These libraries are loaded for functionality only and do not collect personal data.
Data Security
Since your data never leaves your device, there is no server-side data security concern. However, we recommend:
- Use HTTPS (our site is served over HTTPS)
- Keep your browser updated
- Be cautious when using public computers
Children's Privacy
ArrowScope is a technical tool for data professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
